Biography
Terri Blanchette is an historian, preservationist and writer, and is the founding owner of TimeSorters LLC based in Stafford, Virginia.
She holds a Masters in US History and certification in Museum Studies and Archiving from Duquesne University. After rising to Director-level in the museum field, Terri began her own business to fill the need of providing museum-quality preservation and storage services for individuals and businesses who want to keep their history both close at hand and safe for future generations.
Terri also enjoys writing and has written corporate histories and several published articles. Most recently she has completed a biographical book about a Pittsburgh, PA noteworthy editorial cartoonist.
She is an active member of a variety of history and preservation related organizations including the American Association for State and Local History, is a member of the Stafford Museum Commission, and is the President of the Fairfax Chapter of Planning for Senior Life.
Terri is passionate about preserving history and has presented at several history-focused conferences and has held workshops for smaller/local history organizations as well as the general public. She enjoys all opportunities to share her knowledge and provide a new resource to assist everyone with their family treasures.
